This is a picture of the Tower of David taken outside the walls of Old City Jerusalem by the Jaffa Gate. According to our tour guide, this pillar is the only structure that was not destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE and it has nothing to do with King David.
This is Jaffa Gate. There are seven open gates to enter the old city. Jaffa gate is the entrance to the Christian Quarter.
