Israeli Committee Against Home Demolition

Our visit to the Israeli Committee Against Home Demolition (ICAHD) was amazing. We also had a tour of East Jerusalem with the program coordinator. Here is the ICADH website, http://www.icahd.org/.

A blog is not a forum to discuss the serious and complicated issues surrounding home demolitions. I am looking forward to sharing what I have learned with the Siena Community when I return.

The photograph above is of the wall that is being built to separate the Palestinians and Israelis. This portion of the wall has been built in the middle of a Palestinian city and it resulted in cutting off a main and historic road to Jericho.
